Origin Of Cyanide-Hearts
Past Layouts
Cyanide-Hearts began on February 21, 2008 as a small layout site by the name of Sugar Coated Layouts. The thought of possibly owning a layout site came about while the webmistress was watching The Ring on the floor of her bedroom. She woke up early, around four o'clock that next morning, and began throwing together CSS and HTML coding which she had picked up from her own father's web buisness. She browsed sites such as w3schools and greatened her knowledge of coding. The site has since improved from sloppy layouts into a site that has fairly pleasing layouts. The site got hosted on January 21, 2008 by Tammy, a wonderful host.
Featuring Cute Is What We Aim For
Duration November 21, 2007 - December 25, 2007
Version One
This layout was the first layout for Cyanide Hearts, and it ended up being one of my favorites. It was simple, and the colors went well together, and I kept it for quite a while. Over a month is a while for the site =]

Featuring Panic! At The Disco
Duration December 25, 2007- January 5, 2008
Version Two
I liked the colours of this layout. I didn't care much for the brushes used in this layout, although it was calming and pleasing. I liked the colour combination, so I will probably use it in some future layouts.

Featuring Saliva
Duration January 5, 2008 - January 20, 2008
Version Three
This was close to my favorite. I loved the lyrics used within the layout, and the mixture of fonts made it look unique. One of the best graphics for the site [Sugar Coated//Cyanide] in its history.

FeaturingPanic At The Disco
Duration January 20, 2008 - February 10, 2008
Version Four
I liked this layout, although it was not a favourite of mine. It was too similar to my other layouts, using the same brushes as most and the only thing that I really loved about it, was that I had used bright colours and the texture from Colour-Theory.

Featuring The Academy Is...
Duration February 10, 2008 - February 22, 2008
Version Five
I like this layout, although I did not use any brushes or textures to show any of what the site has to offer. It is simple and easy to navigate, I believe, and is better than the previous version.

Featuring Phantom Planet
Duration February 22, 2008 - March 16, 2008
Version Six
This layout featured the lovely band Phantom Planet and the lyrics from Lonely day. It Ended up quite interesting, with the graphic having a static-y background and faded words. This layout features a horizontal navigational bar, which is the first time it has been used in any of the layouts offered at Cyanide-Hearts. It is also the first layout to have a calendar which states the updates on roll-over.

Featuring All Time Low
Duration March 16, 2008-May 14, 2008
Version Seven
This layout featured All Time low, and lyrics from Dear Maria (Count Me In).

Featuring Alexis Bledel

Version Eight
This layout featured Alexis bledel. It involved a pattern found off photobucket, three pictures of Alexis Bledel, mainly using blue and neutral colours. This layout lasted about two months, was a good site layout.
